Inkword is a small product in beta, made and run by one person, Sumit Bedi. By using it you agree to what is on this page. It is written to be read.

What Inkword is

You type a word. An AI model, Claude, picks a metaphor and writes a small vector illustration, and your browser draws it. Inkword is in beta: it can change, break or pause without notice while it is being built.

Your account

During the beta, accounts are opened by approval. One account per person, please. You are responsible for what happens under your account, and for keeping access to the email address or Google account you sign in with, because that is the only key.

Drawings, and what you may do with them

During the beta you may use the illustrations you make in your own work: posts, decks, documents, newsletters and the like. A formal commercial licence will come with the paid release, and these terms will be updated when it does.

The drawings are made by an AI model. Inkword does not promise that a drawing is unique, that someone else will not get a similar one from the same word, or that it cannot resemble existing work. If it matters, check before you publish.

Inkword may show drawings made on the service as examples of what it does. If you would rather one of yours is not used that way, say so and it will not be.

Free and Pro

A free account comes with a number of drawings, shown in the app. Each new drawing uses one; replaying, recolouring and downloading do not. Free downloads carry a small mark. Pro adds clean PNG and SVG export, and does not expire when your drawings run out.

Paid packs are not open yet. Before anyone is charged, this page will be updated with the price and the refund policy.

What you agree not to do

• Use Inkword to make anything unlawful, hateful, harassing or sexually explicit, or to imitate a real brand or person in a way that misleads.
• Try to extract the prompts, style guides or reference material behind the drawings, or probe, overload or get around the limits of the service.
• Automate the service, share an account, or resell access.

The model may decline some words. Accounts that break these rules can be closed.

No warranty

Inkword is provided as it is. It may be unavailable, and drawings may be wrong, odd or not what you hoped for. To the extent the law allows, Inkword is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and its total liability to you is limited to what you paid in the twelve months before the claim.

Ending

You can stop at any time, and ask for your account to be deleted by writing to hello@inkword.app. Inkword can suspend or close accounts that break these terms, and can end the beta.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
