Feelings illustrations for emotion cards and classrooms

Emotion cards work when each feeling reads from the face alone, at a glance, without a label. Below are 12 feelings drawn that way, from joy and calm to worry and anger, each a free PNG to print on cards, charts or worksheets. Inkword draws any other feeling in the same style.

How to use them

  1. Print each one on its own card with the word underneath; children match the face first, then the word.
  2. Start with four (happy, sad, angry, scared) and add the rest as the class names them.
  3. For a feelings chart, print them in a grid and let children point to the one they feel today.

Questions

Can teachers print these for a class?
Yes. The free PNGs can be printed for your own classroom, therapy room or worksheet. Don't sell the drawings themselves or share them as a download pack.
Are these drawings free?
Yes. Each one downloads free as an 800 px PNG from its own page. Free to use in your own work, personal or commercial. A credit to Inkword is kind but not required. Don't resell it, offer it as a download elsewhere or use it to train AI. The packs add SVG, transparent PNG, GIF and Lottie.
What if I need a drawing that isn't here?
Type a word or a short phrase into Inkword and it draws one in the same style, stroke by stroke. A free account gets 10 drawings a month.
